Well 'Dry July' was quite a challenge as I surfed about 4 times without catching a wave, including my Scarborough Boardriders contest! I had conversations with people I'd seen but never really spoken to. I also hung out in the carpark instead of surfing a few times. I should be doing this more, but too busy doing the "work" of Christian Surfers I don't have time to do the ministry of Christian Surfers? I broke Dry July on August 1...well it broke me, as I got caught inside a huge set on my paddle out at Sandon Point on the biggest swell of the year!
I'm off to WA today to the desert waves of Red Bluff 12 hours north of Perth. No reception, no electricity, no water, no nothing except for big left-hand barrells!
Was up to midnight culling photos for the upcoming CS history book! Getting closer, get excited...
